Drunk cycling
Germany takes road safety very seriously, and this applies not only to motorists, but also to cyclists. Drunk cycling is not only considered unacceptable here, but also prohibited by law. This decision was made due to the high level of accidents, which are often caused by drunk cyclists.
According to the law, the blood alcohol level of a cyclist must not exceed 1.6‰. If a cyclist is caught drunk, his driver’s license will be immediately confiscated. Moreover, if he does not pass a medical and psychological assessment, the driver’s license will be completely revoked. And not only for a bicycle, but also for a car!
